The Employees Retirement System of Texas (ERS) has appointed Minnesota Life Insurance Co. to offer term life insurance to its participants. The scheme covers nearly 301,000 staff members and retirees and 120,000 dependents.
Minnesota Life will start providing its services with effect from January 1. The St. Paul–based firm has decided to set up an office in Austin to provide local service to the retirement system’s participants.
