Vision Capital is purchasing a portfolio of investments from Banco Popolare for €375 million, The Wall Street Journal reports. The deal includes a majority stake in an international glass and plastic packaging manufacturer, Bormioli Rocco, along with three or four other minority investments.
London-based Vision received a loan package of €365 million from JPMorgan Chase for the Bormioli Rocco deal, while it is paying €10 million in cash for the minority investments. BNP Paribas advised the seller on the deal. Vision Capital is a midmarket private equity firm currently investing out of its seventh fund of €750 million.
