BlackRock’s ETF business, iShares, has set up a global iShares investment strategy group, CPI Financial reports. The firm has hired Russ Koesterich as global chief investment strategist to lead the team. He will provide clients with insights on a variety of economic and investment topics, covering the asset classes, sectors and markets in which iShares offers access to investors. Koesterich will take up the new role in addition to his duties as leading the investment strategy team within BlackRock’s scientific active equity group.
