Manulife Asset Management has appointed Mahesh Fonseka as product manager for its institutional sales and marketing team, Asian Investor reports. He will be based in Hong Kong and report locally to Asia head Michael Dommermuth and globally to Jeffrey Santerre, international head of product management based in Boston.
Fonseka will cover both equities and fixed income for the institutional sales and marketing team. Most recently, he was working with Perpetual Investments. Previously, he has also served at Deutsche Asset Management, IPAC Securities and Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
