Mutual fund back office provider DST Systems has retained BofA Merrill Lynch and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom as its independent advisers. The advisers will support the company’s board in the ongoing review of its business plan, assets and investment portfolio. Additionally, the board has rejected Russell Glass’ proposal to be appointed as one of the directors of the company and to negotiate the acquisition by RDG Capital of the company’s 10.3 million shares of State Street. Stinson Morrison Hecker is the company’s legal adviser.
