AMP Capital Investors has closed its China Fund, Investor Daily reports. The firm has shut down the portfolio due to low demand from customers. The fund, which was managed by the structured products team, was closed on June 16, 2011.
The portfolio has committed to the FTSE/Xinhua 25 index and invested in bonds and options. The firm will pay a distribution fee to all investors in the China Fund before the payment of wind up proceeds.
