Kames Capital has rolled out an absolute-return bond fund, Financial Times reports. The new fund eyes a positive total return over a rolling three- to five-year period.
The Dublin-based vehicle can invest in a variety of fixed and floating-rate fixed-income securities and will employ financial derivatives to run a long/short strategy. Colin Finlayson and Stephen Snowden will manage the fund.
