Goldman Sachs has hired Michael Carr and Dusty Philip as new co-heads of the Americas mergers and acquisitions team, The Wall Street Journal reports. Carr joined Goldman in 1998 as a partner, while Philip joined in 1999 as an M&A banker in Goldman’s industrials group. Separately, chief of deal making for the Americas, Tim Ingrassia, is joining Jack Levy and Gene Sykes as a co-chairman of global M&A. Ingrassia has managed the bank’s consumer retail banking group for several years.
