Blackstone Group’s managing director, Theodore Coons, who has focused on the technology sector, has resigned from the firm, Pensions & Investments reports. Coons will join venture capital firm, Technology Crossover Ventures (TCV). Prior to joining the private equity firm in 2005, Coons was a vice president with Credit Suisse’s technology group, where he advised and helped finance semiconductor and capital equipment companies, adds Fortune. He has also worked with Deutsche Bank.
