The European listed private equity sector association has added the Aberdeen Private Equity Fund as a member, The Wall Street Journal reports. The fund, managed by Aberdeen Asset Managers, is a private equity fund of funds focusing on growth capital and mid-market buyout funds, venture distressed assets and secondaries. The Aberdeen fund is Guernsey-incorporated and listed on the London Stock Exchange, with a market capitalization of around £90 million. The private equity association now has 20 members, including the U.K.’s HgCapital, Spain’s Dinamia Capital Privado and London and Frankfurt-listed vehicle Partners Group.
