Jamie Rollo manages the London-based Morgan Stanley team that captures second place on this roster for a third year running. He and his associates track 31 regional leisure and hotels names, providing a research product that “is quite balanced rather than pushing a particular angle,” observes one supporter. “They have covered the sector a long time, and this shows in the quality of their work and the depth of their knowledge.” One name they favored for more than a year is German tour operator TUI, which the group first encouraged investors to buy in September 2014. Margin turnaround in Germany and France should propel robust growth, says Rollo, 43. In addition, the team projects strong performance from TUI’s cruise division and looks for management to divest noncore assets, potentially leading to significant cash returns. By the middle of last month, the stock had soared 42.9 percent, to €14.83, and outperformed its European peers by 31.8 percentage points.
