Falcon Edge Capital has changed its name to Alpha Wave Global, effective November 24, according to a regulatory filing.
The firm, which did not disclose why it made this move, declined to comment. But it has told clients that it made the change to better reflect the firm’s breadth and depth, although it is not clear how the name change accomplishes this goal.
