Capturing the No. 3 spot on this lineup is Deutsche Bank Securities’ Brian Modoff, who slips from second place. “Our sector is maturing, and the growth rate is slowing. Our larger companies are slowly adjusting to this reality, with Cisco [Systems] the furthest along in this transition,” the 56-year-old researcher reports. “As our markets mature, market share, profitability, operating cash flow and shareholder returns will play an increasingly important role in stock performance for most of our companies.
